Well, just spent the last three days showing Radar around Brisbane, visiting gun shops, fishing shops and camping stores. Finished up with a day at the range today, blasting away with a couple of .22 rimfires, my Weatherby .243 and my Winchester 30.30 lever action.

All in all, a magnificent time was had by all.

Ooh...we had a couple of quiet beers mate...but not a lot because I was driving Radar around, and we went to the range today.

We had a ball...and what made it even more enjoyable is he is a damn fine guy. My wife is a brilliant judge of character and she really liked him...that only confirmed my beliefs...a thorough gentleman that I am proud to call mate.

He is visiting his brother and their family, about 2 hours north of me, at the moment. He is heading back home around mid week next. He should be back on here by Thursday next week (in about five days).
