althopugh I am a big fan of the .30 caliber I personally think that the 7mm/284 caliber does not get the recognition it deseerves.

I like the .25 (especially25/06), 7mm and .375 calibers a lot, but the incredible variety of .30 bullets makes the .30 hands-down the "ultimate caliber". It's too bad that a single twist rate won't work for the full range of bullet weights / lengths. Then you could do absolutely everything with a single rifle.
Still - more rifles = more fun.

I didnt forget the.22rf!!!!
there is not much that a .30cal can do that a good 150-170grn .277 wont do... 90grn -170grn is a fair range/variaty not as many as 7mm or .30 but enough to do the biz...

Man, Stovey, those Jacks are some homely lookin' wabbits - not like the cute widdle cottontails we used to have around here - before the coyotes gobbled them all up.
