Well, dropped in to see the daughter and Macushla this morning...had my Whooping Cough shot yesterday so all is well...and the wee one is thriving. My daughter passes on thanks for all of the well wishes.

She is incredibly alert for a two day old baby...very much like her Mum and, as far as I know, her Dad.

They were doing a hearing test on the baby. They put a cup on each ear and a couple of electrodes on the baby's head, then put a tapping sound through each ear in turn. If the baby hears the sound, it will react and the brain waves will be picked up by the electrodes. They are looking for a brain stem reaction. All was perfect.
