Ferkin ammo prices

I bought some ammo last month, there are no shortage at the time.
OTOH, last Sunday, I heard from other club members that 22LR is getting rare in Sydney.
Not sure whats the truth, but calling on a couple of shops I was told to hurry and buy, "if I need some".
I think it is strange coz Winchester made Aussie 22 LR in Oz, and because it is not imported, shorted in Mericas shouldn't affect us. Confused

There is literally buckets (remington) of it up here, I would have grabbed some but the CZ doesnt like remington or CCI.
Picked up a brick of winchester power points and there was no shortage of that around.

I think it was 58 bucks, a mate picked it up with the clubs bulk ammo order.
Last time I bough a brick of the new power points it was 64 bucks last year.
That was at QGE.
The local shop told me they couldn't get the new winchester power points as they were made in america, idiots.

That's what I got last year, this time however I ended up with the 40 grn power points, groups as well as the 42's so they'll do.

The tightest groups I get with my Krico come from the Winchester PPs, but the Remington Cyclone are just behind them, and Cleaver has them on sale for $29 a brick, which is why I bought two bricks the other day.

Might have a sniff around at prices for the Power Points...they are a great .22 rimfire round.

I bought a couple of bricks of the 42gn PP's apparently they are loaded hotter and predicted to reach 1400 fps.
Haven't shoot it yet tho.. plan to do it next week on Anzac weekend.

I think the box quotes1380 fps.
You can confirm this on your newly repaired chrono eh.
