I truly hope I am wrong, but I suspect there is a lot more to this than training. After all we can surly trust Barry, he is a christian (God forgive me) and a true patriot. He would do nothing to harm the good old USA. Would he?

Would he?..Well....since you asked...one thing on my mind that's currently going on is a supreme court hearing for a ruling on same sex marriage. Consequences of which will resonate through churches, laws, education, businesses, healthcare, taxes and so on and on and on. As usual you won't know it till it hits you in the face, it sounds so benign but it's so far-reaching. For instance legal eagles are at this moment determining rhetoric such as; first parent and second parent (as opposed to father and mother), what church will obey and what church will no longer be tax exempt if the law isn't recognized. If you tax them you will destroy them (or is that the name of the game anyway?). Imagine the paper shuffle and logistics involved in the issue alone. There are already states that are going through this irritation for the sake of the huge majority (3%) of the population that is gay. As always it's not about gay, and it's not about global warming and it's not about affordable health care, it's not about gun control or sharing gun information on the internet forums (God forbid an educational moment), it's about us doing our part to stop this insane take over of our lives and freedoms and quit being sheeple and lemmings. The dumbing-down has to stop, we have lost big-time. Everything is in motion and full steam ahead over the cliff. There are no itty-bitty changes when you read the whole story, swallowing the tape worm was easy and well orchestrated but the end results have given us unavoidable train wrecks at every curve. I saw Obama chuckle yesterday on the news when he was talking about the Affordable Care Act and how many pages worth of BS it included. We need someone that arrogant to call him out and chuckle about how he's going to be ousted so fast and his programs are going to be so dead on arrival when he's outa there. A real matter-of-fact laugh about how insane the entire administration has been and his choosing of the clowns he appointed because they were dumb enough to follow his lead. His community organizing way of BSing for the sake of coercion and misdirection has worked to a point and hopefully there are enough smart people out there to recognize his lies and depredation are a means to fulfill his end (whatever it might be) but it's not what the people want and not what the country needs. He thinks he's smarter and we need some direction, the old ways are outdated, he's said it over and over. Why don't we listen and react? It sickens me no end and every day till the end of his reign he's going to pick up the pace and we're going to have so many ills at the end of it.......
I quit

actually the decision on the question of same gender marriage won't affect churches at all. I looked into this and because marriage is a sacrament in most religions the government cannot force any church to recognise or perform the rite for members who do not meet the church's requirements. What it will do is force all states to recognise a same gender marriage that was performed in any other state and force them to allow civil marriages for same gender couples.
It may require the words "husband" and "wife" to be replaced by "spouse" but not much more than that. It will ensure that any married couple has the same rights before the law in all cases. The same rules for getting married still apply - you have to be unmarried at the time, of legal age, and enter the union of your own free will. It doesn't open the door for folks marrying their dogs or goats or for multiple spouses or under-age spouses.
I do not want a same gender spouse but for those who love deeply enough to want to be together for the rest of their live this is the correction to the law that is needed.

Well Suz, I was being as sarcastic as I could be, but you have listed several items that IMHO you are absolutely correct about. I would say that Jimmy Cater now has the dubious honor as being the second biggest mistake the American people ever made.
Barry is not stupid, he and the people who bought him the presidency know exactly what they are doing, and Barry told everyone what he would do if elected. So, while frustrated, I am not surprised. This is a war against Christianity, but not only that it is a war against self sufficient people everywhere. The USA, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, and I suspect some other countries. You cannot have a one world government with self sufficient people, or with people who know what freedom is and would never kow-tow to being a servant/slave to the state. These people have been working towards this since Adam, and to us it may appear that they have about won, but I suspect it will become much worse. We've been warned time and again that this would happen.
Paul, I respect your opinion, but as I said above this is a war against God, and good vs. evil.
The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares
Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”.

I know Lester, I was just taking the opportunity to use what you said to launch into it. I guess I did imply, but I know your sentiments.
Well Paul I bet the admin. wants to take away tax exemptions and if so that means a for-profit church. How well is that going to go over? Churches will go under, a lot of them are on the brink as is, put a few taxes on them and ooops!
" for those who love deeply enough to want to be together for the rest of their live" and what does that have to do with marriage and the law? It's not about that, it's about the same rights and the same applicable laws that married people have. Single people don't have those same rights and laws to abide by and to allow same sex marriage on a federal level makes it a tax issue which they'd love to get their hands on. You can't think of this as what it sounds like you have to think of this as a political issue (because it is). Otherwise how does the massive 3% of the people somehow sway the feds to agree to it?
The admin has used political correctness to it's advantage (again) by using the press to get us all touchy-feely and emotional over human rights issues and gender issues and aren't we all just tryin to get along? The rights and laws were put there for reasons we're neglecting to recognize because of some political advantage. I think your forefathers had a better more thought out idea than political correctness implys and to squash their well thought out defense against tyranny and socialistic governance is pure insanity. The German history tells a graphic story of how things are currently unfolding in the USA and if you take each issue this administration has dared to dismantle you'll surely see a correlation that'll chill you. If you want to think of these things as benign little changes then just look over the benign little changes in historic Germany.
I'm not an alarmist i'm just looking at what's going on and thinking about the consequences. Pretty obvious to me, when you think about the majority vote and what the ole prez has to do to get his way. Why does he get his way?

Lester, I very much agree. While I'd like to think Obama is inept and write off all the bad he has done as such, I believe he is following plans laid out for him, by whom, I don't know. I believe every move he has made leads us towards a one world government movement. While the signs are already there, I think the first big move will be an engineered world wide economic collapse. I believe that these military exercises we have been seeing are a way of preparing to control the population when the collapse comes. The government wants us all to be dependent on them for all of our needs. Once that happens they can withhold our needs until we cave in to any demand they see fit to issue. They already have control of our health care, media, education, fuel, electric grids, water and monetary systems. The one big impediment is the fact that we are still armed. When all of this will happen I don't pretend to know, but I think we are getting closer day by day. When it does you can say goodbye to our Constitution, our liberty, and national sovereignty. God help us.
