Oh, I would have to say that hooking the guide would be a BAD thing. I like your Dr....telling you to go fishing....BONUS.

I got it........I'll put some foam in my back pocket and drive a 4/0 hook through it and say i gotta go! By the time she realizes what happened and asks questions, i'll be well on my way to the marina. |
Mate, I'm impressed. Not only does it takes real balls to trick the missus, you will also get to go fishing.
Wonder if I can find a way to relate this to hunting. Hmm, there has to be a way. Test fire guns, test loads, need red meat for more iron in my diet, have a nasty infectious disease that necessitates quarantine in the bush for a week.....must keep working on this one.

The "quarantine in the bush" sounds like it might work. You could get one of your "doctor" hunting buddies to write a note. Maybe......

I think you are right Bushy, that one just might work methinks.
Hey 10Ring, goin' fishing this weekend. Gonna try out some new "plastics". Bought a pack of Berkely Gulp 3" Minnow in Smelt and a pack of Berkely PowerBait Realistix 4" Super Minnow. I reckon I might do alright with these.....hopefully.

Sunday? Sunday??? Not where I am, its Monday here.
Might go out to the range later, put a few rounds through old faithful....my Model 94 30.30, see if I can get the scope zeroed. Had to make a screw for the site mount (no idea the brand, its not marked) front hole; can't find one anywhere over here. Its the funny little one that is about 6.3mm and holds with about 3 or 4 threads. Fingers crossed, hopefully I have one now...the last one didn't work. I've put green Loctite on it this time so hopefully it will hold ok, if not will have to see if I can get one in the US; Midway maybe, or Brownells.
I take it the grey nomads/army in the trailer park sleep in on Sundays Bushy. Not to worry mate....won't be long and you will have all the peace and quiet you can hope for.
Cheers, Vince

How can I not fit in with my new neighborhood when you will have only one neighbor who is one woman in her 70's and is around 200 yards away.
COMPLACENT!!??!! Who you callin' complacent? I'm just resting for the trip. Gotta get a lot of rest when you have to wrestle horses for 1800 miles.

Even in a trailer it's a fight. Every 300 miles or so they have to come out for a snack, water and a little leg stretch. Cutter can be a handrull to load. He hates this trailer. Now if it's my friends trailer, different story...He'll damn near run over you gettin' in.
How you doing 1895ss??

Yes I know, horses can be hard to load at times.
I am doing OK, I'm fairly busy these days when the weather cooperates. How about you? Are you almost ready for the move?
