My friend a few weeks back , went to africa to hunt leopard and ended up hunting Lion and leopard with a Crossbow.
Both took two arrows apiece . The lion was 486 lbs and the Leopard was about 120 lbs. Web Page Name AfricaWeb Page Name Africa
Touch the word Africa and see the pictures . Touch first word and then the second word africa to see the next picture.

Even with a .416 he had to rely on someone else. Your friend has some major stones IMHO

Outlawlineman,
Welcome to the forums enjoy your stay!
Yes you are relying on someone else which may or maynot be bad. Didn't think of it that way.

Welcome to the site outlawlineman.
Thats pretty cool to take one with a crossbow. Regardless of the guts it takes that guys got alot of cash to hunt leopard's... those things aint cheap! But he sure killed a purty one.

From my reading, I understand that cats are tough. Your friend can be very proud of two fine trophies. The memories will last a lifetime. Great to see the pictures. Welcome to the boards.

Awesome Pics..Hard to imagine a lion that is heaver than most of our Black Bears, Any more to the story? How close, how much it cost, etc. I've heard that hunting Africa is cheaper than you think.
Welcome to HuntingNut.
