It works! LOADDATA sharing through the forum!

Instructions:
*run PointBlank
*goto 'Open Load'
*choose the loads you want to share
*goto 'Export Load'
*it will suggest you use LOADDATA as the filename, click 'Save'
*File will be saved in PointBlank main file under 'LOADDATA.bld'
*Compress the file either using WinRAR (free basic download at www.download.com/WinRA...g=lst-0-1)
*OR Compress using WinZip (free trial download www.winzip.com/ovwc17/downwz.htm)

TO UPLOAD FROM FORUM TO YOUR PC
*run PointBlank
*goto 'Open Load'
*Choose 'Import Load'
*Goto file you saved the LOADDATA.zip/.rar file to and click 'Open'
-The loads on the file will automatically added to your list of loads!

I hope I'm not stirrin up old news, and I hope that everyone finds this useful and we all start sharin our loads, maybe make this thread a 'Sticky' and keep a massive "Central Load Database" on file for those enjoying this program to benifit from.

PS: This can also be used to share the 'Firearms.dat' file so everyone can see and try out our guns we boast on with pictures! I've loaded my Tikka T3 setup to demonstrate.

May I suggest when we export we make the file names our screen name?

Like wrzwaldo_loaddata.bld ???

I can't open them without adding another Ppphhhttt to my computer and I really don't want to do that. I have enough stuff on here that I don't use all that much now...By any chance would you concider using one of the more popular format of inputing your load data...???

I am fairly new here, but.... if you have some load data or firearms info and would send it to me via a pm I will format it as a winzip file. If you prefer another format tell me what and I will post it also.

Anybody have any load data to share for a 270wsm. I would love a jump start on my reloading of this cartridge. I have just loaded my first set up and need to shoot and see.

Looking for load data for 303 Savage. I know it's old but I still love shooting it and reloading is the only choice for ammo.

If you have not done so already, go to the upper left of your screen, go down the row of buttons to Reloading Database. There are 4 loads posted for the 303 Savage. Very Happy

I just found this forum and I am reading it. In the process of getting load data entered but it's going to take some time. Winter here and it'll be spring before I get out the chrono. I've just tried point blank and so far I LIKE what I see.
