Bushy, the target you posted with your 22LR had holes in it?

There are a whole bunch of people in Texas that would "kill" for a day like that this summer!! We have been 103+ degrees F every day for a week and that is all that is predicted for the next week.
I'm impressed - with a hand cannon no less!
Did you get the mosquito?!?

Even with the rain this is the coolest day we've had. This is Minnesota it's supposed to be colder up here. Come February I will gladly trade weather with you.
I am really impressed with the accuracy of my BFR. It's a bit abusive but I can live with that.
I couldn't find a blood trail from the skeeter so who knows if I got him.
Suz is going to razz me but what the heck, I got the kitchen job I bid and part of payment is a Colt 1911 Officers Model that has only shot one magazine of ammo through it. So it was o pretty good day.

It is pretty hard to find the numbers with a 2-6x scope at 50 yards, I have determined the the 45-70 might be a little large for this target. But it was fun to try, very challenging with a hand cannon. The BFR is set up to shoot minute of deer. BFR 45-70 with 2-6x Swift scope at 50 yards.

That hand cannon looks VERY FUN to shoot !!! Very, very nice.

Marty
My BFR is my favorite gun, it's the most fun you can have without blowing something up. If you ever get a chance to shoot a BFR 45-70 jump at it, they are intimidating to watch but fun to shoot. It was well worth the price.

Way to go Wiersyoneoneone! What's to raz? We should do a 25yd pistol shoot but without scopes...or with scopes or not. I wanna shoot my 32magnum. I don't have any booolitz tho, they're kinda expensive round here and I don't reload any pistol ammo. (feel sorry for me) I'm goin out Wednesday afternoon and try my target again. I'm stoked to get it! There's gettin to be some energy in here!

OkOk hold the applause, gimme a beer but hold the applause, I'm shy yaknow. Went out there today and measured of my 50yds, back to the truck and pulled out my target, pulled out the stand.....where's the tape? I have a large plastic box in the back of my truck with an ax a shovel a wood clamp, hydraulic jack, some targets, ear muffs, tire chock....no tape. Grabbed the wood clamp and a stick and clamped the target to the stand. Had a problem with the wind blowing the target corners up but not too often. Couldn't read the blasted numbers on the target again but went ahead and sat my butt on some cardboard and opened up the bi-pod and went at it. So here's what I shot. I'm very proud and amazed because I was sure I hit about half of those that appear. I couldn't see the black ones and the ones on the lines....ha! Got er done! I quit! That's pretty tough to do and I'm glad I did it. I only spent about 50rnds making sure I was going to be accurate.
OOOooo find me knat with an eye problem.
deadeye
