Will be interesting to see if it catches on in the law enforcement and military. Not sure we will see it in hunting camp in our life-time.

I'll stick with the normal "dumb" rifle.

The worst part is that the system relies on the ammo that is factory tuned. No reloads for this one folks. You simply have to use their ammunition or the tracker system loses accuracy.

Let me see;
A big black gun I don't like the looks of,
a computerized sighting system I don't want,
Ammo I can't reload.

I believe I will pass. I do know that there are "hunters" (really shooters) that can afford and will buy that gun. Then they will brag about how they shot that elk at 1200 yards on the first shot. Yep! I know a couple peole who will "have to have" that system.
After the third year when they decide to buy off-the-shelf ammo and can't hit anything with it they will condemn the gun as worthless and go back to shooting pie plate sized groups at 100 yards with their 300 Weatherby after spending all morning getting it "sighted in".

Awww, gee. You still have to press the trigger? What a rip-off! Crying or Very sad
No, wait...there's an option to let it fire on its own...that's better! Every village idiot needs one.

Haha Haha Haha Haha

One thing I can see with this setup is the strong possibility of a more likely one shot, one kill hunt which makes for a more humane hunt...and possibly less meat damage.
