This is a little long but worth listening to. I wish I had a way to get our members of congress to hear this but they would call it foreign propaganda.

It's very accurate.

The Canadian View of US.

Today in the US, it’s virtually impossible to believe what the politicians and the media say.

But here’s a completely unbiased view of what we've become.

I hope you watch this because I guarantee it will open your eyes. Good points, well presented.

This a speech by a member of Parliament

Economic Freedom Speech

One has to ask how they cocked this up so badly.
They've now defined generational debt and you guys are the example.
Have fun funding the Chinese armed forces.
You guys are going to have to redefine the word "austerity" to dig yourselves out of this. Perhaps start by telling the UN to fund itself and culling a few thousand politicians and senior bureaucrats. Make sure the rest are QUALIFIED and HONEST, gaol terms for any lies or fraud + removal of any moneys made to go back into the debt fund.
While your at it redefine your terms of trade with china and get the YUAN floated to a realistic level.

dhc4ever,,, Sad truth is I think all the liberals have us out numbered .
I keep thinking we would have a bloodless coup at the polls , but it didn't work out that way . Hate to even think of what's coming next. It's not gonna be pretty .

As Ben Franklin said " we've formed a REPUBLIC , if we can keep it". It's becoming a hell of a fight trying to keep it.

That was so matter of fact and clear, I love it! The use of political diplomacy or correctness (which ever way you want to say it) has so clouded people's minds with definitions and trying to seek clarity that most people have a hard time realizing there is such a thing as truth. We have so muddled with trying not to say what we mean to say, that we have no idea what's going on in the government. Nice to hear someone peel away the wrapper and expose the goods. Put that on US national television, it would be interesting to hear the comments.

He's hit the nail on the head without bias (other than his agenda) and I hope he's rewarded with more than a "here-here" and some applause. It's just like some of the Republican rhetoric over here that no one listens to. Our economy is just like a credit card, you can't borrow without paying back. You can't tell your credit card company to keep raising the debt limit way beyond what you can pay. They won't go for it, but our national debt is governed that way and has been forever a way of putting off payment. China owns so much of our economy they can practically tell us when to jump, hopefully they will also tell us when to duck. North Korea has been telling us the hangman's knoose has found a sturdy tree now, just need a longer rope. Will China reign them in? Why should they? The Democrat response to that has been the same response you got with gun control "we're not talkin about takin your guns away".

The UN has put heavy sanctions on North Korea and can impose more to isolate them further. They're not backing down and treating the sanctions as a national threat, which feeds fuel to their nuclear ambitions. China (NK's primary trading partner) has resisted cutting them off completely, and says that we need a calm response on all sides. They did give NK a dressing down and told them to return to normal channels of negotiations.

We didn't used to rely on the UN to do our bidding. North Korea has been on this rant since the Korean war (1950-54). This nuclear test was done on the 60th anniversary of the end of the Korean war, they're hot tempered, we've got troops in South Korea to protect them, but it's a sign of aggretion NK's not putting up with. They feel now that they have nothing to fear with the rest of the world.

In UN talks China always sides with Russia and some of our allies do also. The entire format of the UN is about 5 permanent members that can have as many nuclear devices as they want, never have a UN sanctioned embargo and on and on, while they lay out stipulations for others. Why would any country that is under-represented in the UN with different political ambitions and national goals even find the UN relevant?

The arguments are that the UN helps a lot of people in crisis situations, it doesn't matter what country sides with whom, because it only takes one vote from the five major countries to veto anything that is trying to happen. It's just that it seems to me the snail's pace diplomacy is sort of like my stocks advisor. He waits till the stock price drops below what you bought the stock at, to tell you to sell. You just lost. So sorry. But I'll be charging you a comission for the sale, lets find you another stock.

Apparently we have to wait till NK is launching our direction before their obvious threats piled upon threats means anything. I'm not saying we should go murder the country, I'm saying that our means of negotiation has been fruitless and irresponsible. It's a very small country, they've had loads of time on their hands to get into trouble and I'm sure China and Russia have padded their behinds along the way, snickering like someone putting a firecracker in the lady's room.

So why have the UN been so lax in dealing with one of their members that have chosen to be so hostile toward us? And why do we support the UN? I think we've got better ways to spend our money, but with our current administration maybe I should be happy there's another opinion for them to rely on.

Scuse me for goin on a rant, but it irks me no end to see a beautiful Canadian guy so eloquently state the state of our union, when we can't do it ourselves, and he wasn't even doin it for us!! After watching that I feel like a dummy little kid waiting for mom to wipe my nose for me. Too stupid to do it myself....know what I mean?
I'm through now
Suz

I have been preaching this on a few other forums I frequent but nobody wants to listen. The majority of the American public like the free stuff more than they fear the collapse.

I believe that within 20 years the USA will either be disolved or involved in a civil war because of the national debt. I also believe this is why the big push is on to disarm the population, TSA check-points are increasing and all of our rights are having limits put on them.

Stand ready America - It is time to "TAKE IT BACK!"

How refreshing to hear but depressing to see where our country crumble in front of our eyes. It will happen in our lifetime!
