Didn't I mention that I often load my 30-30's with Speers 150 grs FN? And in my opinion that should be very good on larger game than roedeer. The jacket is a little strong to use that bullet on roedeer (or smaller) when you want them to drop death on the spot. On the other hand, when you're somewhat more experienced (and don't start being angry at yourself when roedeer makes that last 40-50 m run) you will discover that this 150 grs Speer FN in a 30-30 Win will give very little meatdamage on roedeer.

i just love speer projectiles. 150 grn grandslams have been good in the .270 and 50 or 52 grn hps do the job in my .223.
great to hear they have got back to you and have offered some product as a good will gesture 10 out of 10 for customer service.

I got my bullets in the mail today, there were only 23 but that is a pretty damn good deal, 1 wrong bullet for 23 right bullets. I am not complaining.
