A friend of mine just stole this fine Colt mod 1911 ($350 from a lady wanting to get rid of her deceased husband's guns) (not A1) with a low serial number way under 1,000,000. It is in excellent condition. The only thing done to the weapon is the chage of the barrel to a 400 Cor Bon. Do any of you have loading preferences for this fine calibre???

never liked it because it was always something corbon did just to get recognition (10mm with a little extra bang) Rolling Eyes

However, when a buddy of mine was on the 400 kick, i loaded up some ball ammo with 165fmj 10.1gr Blue Dot and LPM primers. I can't remember where i got the data, but i will look because it was on the net. This load was loud and bright (as most all were with the 400 corbon).
