I have never tried hunting with a bow....come to think of it, I have only ever shot a bow once and that was a recurve and it was inside at very close range...about 5m.

I've read all of the info you guys have put out on bows and tried to soak up a bit of it and then a mate goes and sends me an email with a couple of pics of a lady shooting a bow and asks...What kind of bow is this?

Got me buggered...I have no idea. All of the 'bells and whistles' on this bow have me bamboozled, but I'm sure they all mean something to you. Maybe you guys can fill me in on the details. Things like - how is she holding the drawstring, why does she have a loop of cord around the bow and her wrist, what's with all of the attachments on the bow and why the weird shaping of the bow itself Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused

I'll apologise now for the "scantily clad" lady, but it is the bow that is the subject of this one....not the lady....honestly guys...the bow. Very Happy Cool

There are two things on my "To Do" list and they are to try hunting with a bow and then with a "front stuffer". From what I have read here they are both an awful lot of fun.

Cheers, Vince

Actually, it might say something about a guy who does realize that there is a bow in those pictures! Shocked

Vince,

I'm not a bow person, so I can't help you on this one.

Well Vince, the first thing is how stiff of an arrow do you want.
By the looks of the picture, the stiffer the arrow, the better. It will do the job much better, and it will stay stiff longer.
Then, you have to make sure that you don't release the arrow too fast, or the results won't be satisfying.

Post more pictures Vince, and I will give you some more advice.

Yeah...You want to be real careful not have premature release.

Man Eric...Don't get him started on this...

That's just a cheap way for the implant salesman to market to bowhunters...."You COULD have two of these in YOUR yard"......
