I figured you two would chime in on this one.....but seeing how you have limited (because of laws) selection of guns and ammo i do believe if it were like that here......the same problems would arise .
And if Canadain Tire was soo good how come they aren't here and wally world is there????? Hmmm??? I mean geeze, a "real store for men" is wal mart.....Because where else can i grab a bite to eat at the subway sub shop inside, grab pet food, ammo, hooks, lantern, air freshener, rug, light bulbs, denatured alcohol, epoxy, thermal underware, and a hooters calender all in the same store? |
We go no real limitations on rifles and ammo as long as you get the proper licening for most things anyways
Also Canadian Tire is CANADIAN hense why its not in the US Its great you should cross the boarder sometime and see it As for all that stuff you listed you can find them I'm sure in a Canadian Tire I'm sure The food at most Canadian Tire's is a Sausage stand (notice how I didnt use the word "hotdog stand" ).
Hummm Hot Italian sausage with hot peppers, onions and hot sauce.
Anyways we have Mc D's as well in our wally worlds here. Better for me dont like subway much.

Bushmaster,
Most fishing tackle nowadays is like that
I myself stick to my trusty clear with sliver/red shiny dot bass spinners. Works good even if the fish aint biting. Sure might never catch a bigger one but its good enough to get my Perch!
I hold the record though in my family for trout it was 21 inchs long (Rainbow trout) and I had my rod being held up on a railing and almost lost it that day! I should start caring about the fishing part while fishing instead of just the relaxing part.

I'll say..................
Here you have to watch what you buy at Wally World. Most tools etc are junk. Can Tire has some good stuff, but again you have to watch what you buy cause they also sell junk. That said some of Can Tire brand stuff is OK. They both have some name brand stuff but not to much.

1985,
I've never had a problem going to a Canadian Tire with a broken (yes it was my fault but shhh ) tool that was branded "Mastercraft" and didnt get a replacement ASAP. Got to love there "Lifetime Warrenty"
I dont know about you but I've only broken 2 tools both my fault and had a pleasent interation without a reciet to get it all settled
Yes Wally World tools are junk, no-warrenty imported stuff that wally world doesnt like taking back if they break.

All or most of my Tools are SK Wayne or SK Tools...The last time I broke a tool it was a 3/4 Drive ratchet while trying to remove the nut holding the track on a D9 Cat. Broke it right at the ratchet head...Took it in and handed it to the clerk and he handed me a new one with the comment..."Looks like you were using a swede on this one." I told him "Yes. a 4 foot pipe and the nut didn't come loose either". His comment..."Here. Try this 6 footer then..." Broke a 9/16 socket by standing on the flex handle. Replaced with no questions asked. Used to have to modify 14mm sockets so they would fit into the resess in a head to get the head bolts out. Would split them after about 2 to 3 valve jobs. Went to get new ones and the SK sales rep wanted one...About 2 weeks later and we had 10 14mm sockets modified by S & K with life time warranties....I will keep my SK tools...
