"The California state-level gun ban swept up firearms with “detachable magazines.” But the commonly-accepted definition of a detachable magazine is one that can be removed without any tools. So a company called Prince Industries put out a device called the Bullet Button, which allowed you to detach the mag using a tool. Like the tip of a bullet on your cartridges, sort of tool."
You guys & gals on the Left Coast must be having lots of fun with the CA gun laws. This one took me by surprise. Stovey, does your M&P 22 have this?
Here is how it works.

with the new 60- and 100-round AR magazines, you aren't going to need to push the little liberal protected button.

No, but they sure do a good job pushing their buttons!

Don't they have a ban on new magazines over a certain capacity too?

Mike, you are probably correct because I know the M&P 22LRs sold there have a pin to stop the mag capacity at 10 rounds.

Haha - same pinned mag here in the Commiewealth of MA. A local gunshop is raffling one off - and includes instructions on how to file out the pin.
