This afternoon, Obama signed the controversial Defense authorization bill...
He may not have started it, but he signed it. And I won't tell you what I think of a Congress that put it on his desk. Maybe you can guess.

Les, we have a very strange situation in our country.
When 1 guy robbes a bank, even kills a few while doing this, nobody will take any action against banks.
When somebody misuses his car and kills a few innocent people, nobody will do anything against cars.
But when an idiot buys a gun and kills someone in 2006, almost all civilians had to give their guns to the police (when they were no hunter nor shooter).
When last year some idiot who was early released from prison (convicted because he raped and was violent!), starts using a FAL and some granades STOLEN from or LOST by our army, again all legal gun-owners are punished.
Can you believe that 1 action of 1 man (not even named Hitler), each time can make the politicians punish all law-obidding citizens?
Gard your second commandement because we didn't get such thing in 1830 when becoming independent and the result is that we are more slave than anyone can believe. We're paying more than 60 % taxes on our income and even think that's normal.
And the harder we work, the bigger pockets we have to fill upstairs, getting nothing in return but some government people who make our lives very difficult.
Lucky this is in the joke section, because most foreign people can only smile about such things. It's been said that you get the government you elected and deserve. Wel I don't believe this because I never see somebody I voted for in the government...

We agree on your stated and implied sentiments.

Pete, certainly not as a state... we have about 10 million inhabitants, that's about the size of a big city, but our government has a size that's beyond anyone's immagination...
and they all eat a part of our salary,
and all of them try to be more important than necessairy.
So Belgium is the joke where 3 different languages meet eachother, completely filled up with Arab-smelling refugees and since the Eastern-Europe countries lost their borders, they exported mainly their crimes.
But we have the best beers in the world. Due to taxes we cannot efford to drink it here anymore, so we now go to Czech Republic to drink, making now the Czech the largest beerdrinkers in the world...
