I've found this on another forum. Its a mixture of comments from both the web site mentioned and the posts author.
Makes sense to me, I wonder why our well protected fearless leaders and the useless media have trouble seeing it?.

Obama's crocodile tears and plastic empathy are well summed up by Mike
Vanderboegh (http://sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com.au/2012/07/lesson-of-colorado-ignore-victim.html).
Ref first Obama's words: Friday, July 20, 2012:
"You know, my daughters go to the movies. What if Malia and Sasha had been at the theater, as so many of our kids do every day?" -- Barack Obama
reacting to the "Colorado Movie Massacre."

Vanderboegh answers: "I'll tell you what would have happened -- the Secret
Service protective detail would have put several bullets through the
facepiece of the moke's gas mask -- end of story. The hypocrisy of these
Mandarins, who live in bodyguard envelopes whenever they venture out of
their designated Green Zones, knows no bounds."

Sadly, the quest to make things safer, seems always to make things worse -
and it's not hard to understand why.
Due to focusing on obvious and simplistic but not at the root causes of
societal and family decay - political "initiatives" most often respond to
populist and alarmist rhetoric.
That applies to practically all political and bureaucratic "initiatives" in
any country.

Clearly "gun free zones" are chosen by the crazed simply because no
resistance can be offered against them.
It follows that more "gun free / safe zones" will merely provide more choice
for the bad and the mad - ie: prime hunting grounds made safe for the
predator by law.
Based on past performances around the world, it will be one of the chosen
political "initiatives".

Similarly it is clear to me that in a dark room full of people, each
'carrying' would be a worse situation as the untrained and undisciplined
percentage in the crowd let lead fly.

But that's in a dark room! In the vast majority of life's situations, the
table can be turned against human predators by matching or exceeding their
ability to do harm.

It is precisely this principle that a Nation has "Defence Forces". So as the
principle is valid for a Nation, why not accredited individuals?

Harnessing the capacity of 'good people' to help fight evil on a broad base
is obviously better than centralised response that most often arrive to pick
up the pieces after the damage is done. It is obvious that we are being fed
lies.

Ordinary people are NOT safer by "tough new laws and bans and safe zones etc etc".

In fact, those who abide by laws unwittingly assign themselves to be the
prey of predators who simply ignore laws. It's not hard to ignore law -
just don't take any notice and proceed as you want.

Obtusely - in times of war - governments trust people to do their dirtywork,
but in peacetime those people suddenly are mistrusted.

Greater focus on the media and so called "entertainment" industries that
churn out gratuitous violence and in mind numbing frequency would be a good start to achieving a better society.

Then are the multitude of life's complexities to address, where dissolution
of the family structure for a host of reasons is top of the list.

It then becomes clear as to why politicians choose the cheaper option - more
laws and bans to pander to populist demands, and the added benefit - the
reward of political kudos and ever greater control of people by government.

Whilst ever that circular logic exists - nothing will change for the better.

Madarins....buwahahahahaha! Laughing

And, point well made.

DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO.

Barry-O and his band of merry douchebags are the slimeyest things to every disgrace the oval office. With him came the creme de la creme A-list of hypocritic scum and socialist indoctrination. I really hope theres something left of this place before he leaves.

He puts a very interesting point in the reference to the defense forces....a very well written article and I'm afraid he's on the nail with the mandarin analogy
