That's a new one Joe...can't say I've ever heard of Pumpkin Butter mate. Might just have to research it...along with the Pepper Jelly Chambered mentions.

I'm assuming that what you guys call "fruit" Jelly is what we call "fruit" Jam out here...made properly, it is magnificent on toast...same as a nice marmalade.

Jelly is made from fruit juice, jam is made from crushed fruit and preserves have chunks of fruit in it.

My pepper jelly is made from mild Hungarian peppers with a little hot mixed in to give it a little zing.

Radar just a tip: it's been proven that people who take their cholesterol pill every day live longer than people who don't (even people not having high cholesterol).

And when you want to cheat: eat some wallnuts in the mornings proceeding your blood being sampled. Nuts seem to bring "good cholesterol" Smile

Too late, I'm scoffing fish oil tablets daily and thats made a difference. I also could use loosing a couple of kilo (about 5-8 minimum). Its mind over matter but I like tasty food and the boss is a bloody good cook......maybe thats why Iv'e hung around so long.

LOL Strange that both my HDL and LDL actually register below 1.0 for almost 5 years now.
My doctor is berating me for not having high enough cholesterol, yet my siblings were told that their Cholesterol level are too high.

I love salad and I eat a lot of them, more than meat or high carb stuff like bread, potato or rice.
I don't even like sugar!!
I don't even like to use either butter or margarine.. I hate the oily taste..
I exercise regularly, swimming often and do extended walks a few times a year on hunting trips..
Yet, I am overweight and diabetic..

I guess it is genetic..
It is so unfair.

Sad

Chemo and radiation fix's that, for a while at least.
My diabetes went away after dropping 22 kg with "treatment".
I've noticed that as my weight has approached 90+ kg that my blood sugars have risen to near 7, 5 kg ago they were in the 5's.
I dont eat a lot of sugar as I still cant taste a lot of it, so I dont have it in coffee or drink sodas etc..
So the problem is obviously being short for your weight.

Very Happy
