One murder + one attempted murder = 15 years??? Should be life for the guy who died and 25 for the one who lived too be served consecutively

I agree that the punishment does not fit the crime, only death fits. This was a despicable action on the part of a few individuals, but if we a so interested in what they did we lose sight of the big picture. This was not accidental; this was a flagrant unprovoked attack that caused a death, so only death to the perpetrators fits the action.

But until people regain a moral (and responsible) perspective why worry? It is easier to find fault with how they were raise, Oh momma wasn't nice to me, and daddy drank beer and pissed in the bushes. It's not my fault that I didn't know better than to kill someone I never met. After all they are only another animal, what’s the big deal.

I do not care how they were raised or how difficult their lives are/were. My young life was full of abuse and neglect and I have not killed anyone, (outside military requirements).

The world is full of enormous and horrendous evil, and insane inhumanity to each other, but most importantly blatant ignorance and no interest in finding the truth. God said “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” But, who taught the parents, what did they believe, who were they? In the US the government wants to replace parental responsibility, just look at the schools and what they teach and more importantly what they don’t teach.

And, while some evil is big and obvious such as this, the more insidious evil is less obvious and we've been conditioned by our schools, government, and media for many, many years to see and be outraged by the obvious and ignore the truly evil lies and deception foisted on us by some religious organizations, liberal progressives, and the media.

VP Biden is a simple example, he spouts off saying the most outrageous things and people laugh, hey you fools who keep electing him (not you guys) he is telling the truth, all progressive liberals believe the vast majority of people are tools and nothing more than animals (Darwinism), and are to be controlled and used to the advantage of the superior ruling class. If you support them you are OK, but God forbid if tomorrow if you disagree, then you are a terrorist, and subject to whatever laws they have enacted to protect their positions. Don't think their position is important to them check out the difference between what normal working people get and what your favorite government official gets. Oh yeah, and how they have protected their so called elected position, and who pays for the lies to get them elected, the common man or lobbies, big business, and/or worse. McCain is less obvious, he is a hawk and an avowed conservative, but is he really a conservative? Check out his voting record in reality he votes for the majority of every liberal and progressive bill that hits his desk, is he liberal or conservative, neither he does what is in his own best interest—he is a politician, his first job is to get re-elected, his second is to support the agenda of those who paid for his election.

Disagreeing with your government (at least in the US) used to be call civil disobedience, and was a cherished and honored right. Today it’s called terrorism. Yes, there are real terrorists out there, but they are not us, unless of course you are in the Government and then anyone who disagrees is a terrorist. If they don’t agree with us we’ll sic the IRS on them (but we never knew that happened), or even better tell everyone they’re a radical or better yet a racist, and that through their simple ignorance they love God and guns more than what is right in the eyes of the government , and therefore the rest of the country.

Historically, nothing has changed, government is for the government. With the exception of technology nothing has really changed, and that technology serves them better than it serves us. Do you really think the ad executives on Wall Street only teach Palmolive how to sell dish soap, or Kotex Tampons, or lunch meat and margarine (that will kill you slowly) ---I don't think so.

At this point I see very little that we can do to change what is going on (actually there was never a chance), the majority of people in civilized countries have drank the Kool-Ade and more cherish the Kool-Ade because it eliminates their personal responsibility, cognitive thought, belief, or personal action.

They believe what the Government and mass media tells them, and are seriously more interested in being POLITICALLY CORRECT (because CBS, NBC, and MSNBC tells them they should be) because to do otherwise requires actual real life cognitive subjective and rational thought, reading more than what the media puts out in People magazine or the history books common to our classrooms today, studying real history, and a belief that we are truly more than just a lucky mass of cells call humans.

Oh yeah, it is far more important to worry about when will the next I-Phone be out, and why CBS isn't starting its new season earlier, and at Christmas how much trouble the red necks and other ethnic groups are causing at the local Wal-Mart. After all if I didn’t have the newest I-Phone how would anyone know that Dinky quit shittintg on the dining room floor and now uses the toilet, and Suzy’s ex-lesbian girlfriend has gone through a sex change and now has a d- –k that doesn’t work but looks good, and my new $10,000 boobs look better than my next door neighbors, and Johnny is no longer in trouble at his high school for brining an automatic weapon to class---How many billions of people have taught their kids not to sh-t on the floor, I do not need to know that you were successful at being what you are expected to be, a parent, a teacher, and God can only hope a model for your children. I do not need to know that you scratched your last itch, nor where that itch was, thank you very much.
