22 ammo is spotty here but when it is available it is only $19 a 500 round brick. I am still having a hard time finding 257 Roberts brass - once fired or new.
On the topic of components I would like to see some Hodgdon powders. I am going to need 8 lb. kegs of H414,H335, H4895, H110 and TiteGroup before long.

PaulS, just get your name on notification lists and wait. Its the only way to get it. You likely won't get it all in one shipment so will be spending more for hazmat. I had to wait 4 to 6 months to be mine but I got it.

For those that are interested, here is the link to the ITAR of the US Department of State. Part 121 makes it clear that, unless you have an export permit, reloading components are not exportable. I didn't bother to look at the penalties for exporting without a permit but I can guess they are draconian. Needless to say I amsure no "Nuts" have broken any laws in this regard.

Well, like Vince, I have imported LEGALLY brass and projectiles from the USA.
My mate over there only have to show his drivers licence to the post office and fill up export forms.
Apparently the restriction is for certain countries only and lucky Oz is not on the list.

Hmmmm. Obviously more research is necessary. I would be surprised if Australia has an exemption from the regulations and not Canada but it is possible. I can only say that Cabelas confirmed they are unable to ship either bullets or brass to Canada.

Didn't Canada invade the US once? There seems to be a movie about it in my somewhat reliable memory of the 80's and 90's.

Lol No it was the other way unless you are talking about Justin Beaver or Celine Dion. War of 1812. Been best buds ever since even if you still call us aliens :-)

Yup but the initial invasion was across the New York/Ontario border. It was the Duke of Wellington who took Washington and burnt the President's residence in retaliation for the burning of the town of York, the capital of Upper Canada. They painted over the charred exterior and the low and behold the white house. The tragic battle was the battle of New Orleans which took place after the peace treaty was signed but before the news reached the two armies involved. We now share the longest undefended border, are each others largest trading partners and have been allies since the first world war.

Don't forget Terri Clark, Anne Murray, or Aldo Nova. And Rush, Loverboy, or Bachman-Turner Overdrive. Its ok to leave out Neil Young. I'm good with that.
