attach you grease gun and pump away. You will either push out the brass or break the grease gun.

My bets are on the grease gun breaking. I just broke a steel rod trying to extract it. Maybe this is round 3. I've just about finished the test rig for round 2 using the Rem 700 firing pin. I'll post some picture before I take it to testing. Should have a video this weekend

the firework theory sounds good..if you ignite round the primer is the weakest link and could well pop out allowing pressure to decrease quickly.
I go back to work next week and will miss being able to watch this thread so closely...

If I had the tools, I could take the barrel nut extention off (150 lb-ft of torque) and just wrench or cut the case out. Maybe a new round 3.

If I had the tools...

?

In my opinion that song goes: "If I had a hammer..."

I could hook it up to the brake reservoir on my 93 Volvo!

Clamp the thing muzzle up in a vice. fill the barrel about 3/4 full with an oil of some variety. find a dowel that fits in the bore, but not too tightly. Then smack the dowel with a big hammer. the hydraulic pressure might do the trick.

Put a leather plug in front of the dowel to help keep it all in the bore.

Maybe fill it with water and freeze it? if you cap off the bore and gas port as described the expanding Ice will push pretty hard too.

Most Barrel extensions use green loctitite too which would mean adding heat along with a BFW. That might unload the gun for you just doing that.

Do you have the barrel extension wrench? Does the head of the stuck case let it get a good bite on all of the lugs?

Now that is a novel idea. A new Round 3. I might have to calculate the expansion to see if it will have enough increased volume to push the bullet into the case and then the case also. I'll have to get SWMBO to agree to let me put all this into the freezer also.

Watch that it doesn't go up your nose, Bushy, when you see the clap-trap I try this weekend.
