Yep, that's me.....
Get quoted all the time by media....
That one was real scary, kid found grenade then took it home to show mum. That's how we got involved.
Ngaruawahia was a Military staging and training area for Kiwi and US troops during WW2 and has a history of munitions being located since then. Luckily no one has been injured yet but one day......
If you want to see more of my quotes etc do a google search on my name looking at media releases... There's heaps. I also have been center camera on Police 10/7 a local program - there's some gems on that!!! 2009 National Drug Recovery Operation I had some classic comments......

A couple of laughs- I told a guy in Maori (it's a language) to sit down and shut up - coming from a whitey like me is a real insult to him and he sparks up a storm until I stand over him like a naughty child and he settles down real fast.

Another place where the family have half a cow hanging in a garage bloody near fully fly blown.....real tasty.
