The inaugural Sydney International Knife Show is coming up on 23-24 August 2014
I am making a few skinners for the show..
Here is the first one done (the camera picked up all the scratches that was not seen by eyes Sad )

Steel 1075 @ 59 HRC
Scale Bull-Oak or Buloke (Allocasuarina Luehmannii)

Buloke is the hardest timber in the world at Janka number 5000+ compared to Lignum Vitae at Janka 4500

Thanks for looking

Great work. I assume it is about 10 " long and 2" at it's widest point?

LOL, no Lester
It is 8 inch long with 1.5 inch width at the belly.

A small skinner, that I fashion to the Schrade Sharp Finger style.

Your knife making skills are outstanding Gelan...makes my efforts look positively amateur mate. I don't think you will have any problems selling your knives mate.
