I rolled over in bed yesterday morning at about 8am, went through my usual wake up routine, scratch, look around and ...then my eyes snapped wide open. ...it's my wedding anniversary. Oh shite...no card, no chocolates and no flowers! "Morning sweetheart, Happy 39th Anniversary. ...I'll be right back".
Shopping Centre 3 minutes away, hit the Newsagency - card purchased and write nice words inside, Supermarket next door - Cadbury Roses chocolates on special (bonus)...no flowers and no Florist, bugger...can't win them all. Back home within about 15 minutes. All good...saved. I live again.
Luckily we decided some years ago to not buy one another gifts because of the close proximity of birthdays.

Vince, don't delay. Now would be a good time to get a move on planning for a big show at the 40th!
