Anyone care to venture a guess as to who said this, I think you'll be very surprised.
"Leftists tend to hate anything that has an image of being strong, good and successful. They hate America, they hate Western civilization, they hate white males, they hate rationality. The reasons that leftists give for hating the West, etc. clearly do not correspond with their real motives. They SAY they hate the West because it is warlike, imperialistic, sexist, ethnocentric and so forth, but where these same faults appear in socialist countries or in primitive cultures, the leftist finds excuses for them, or at best he GRUDGINGLY admits that they exist; whereas he ENTHUSIASTICALLY points out (and often greatly exaggerates) these faults where they appear in Western civilization. Thus it is clear that these faults are not the leftist’s real motive for hating America and the West. He hates America and the West because they are strong and successful."

Isn't it unbelievable! This guy sits in prison and most deservedly so for the murders he committed with bombs, but for the first time I sat and read a good portion of his "manifesto" and was shocked by his intelligence and insight when it comes to the left. He was clever. He was on the most wanted list for years before they knew who he was.
He was a philosopher and a patriot but also an extremist in how he tried to get his message across.
Having sent all of those bombs without leaving a clue as to who he was is a matter of a disciplined mind and attention to fine detail. If it hadn't been for getting ratted out he would have died of old age in the shack in the woods.

I admire the man for his intelligence and grasp of rights and liberties but abhor the violence he used. He seemed to forget that those rights and liberties belong to each individual.

Yep, but when is too much, after they have destroyed everything or before.
