Bacon-wrapped Jalapeno Peppers

My BIL brought some to our Super Bowl party. My though was they COULD have been excellent, but weren't. He tried to improve upon them by using thick cut bacon. It didn't work (in my opinion) because he didn't cook them long enough to fully cook the thicker bacon. The undercooked bacon ruined them for me.

Also, they were baked in the oven instead of grilled. With regular or thin sliced bacon and on the grill I imagine they would be fantastic. I could tell they definitely had potential...

My favorite!
I use chopped bacon instead of wrapping it.
This way the jalapeno is nice and soft with slightly crackling skin.
YUM!
