Target does not display and error message to quit appears

I am having an issue regarding the rendering of any target on the scree. I am using Windows 10 and when I try to create a new target on any load a message comes out to either Quit or Continue. Apparently there is an issue drawing the target since it gives a window drawing error. All I am getting is a red "X" where the target should appear. Shocked

Let me run a few tests. Does it happen after you select the new target?

Yes it does. I tried using different targets and I get the same result. It shows a big red "X" where the image of the target should be. Something else that might help, the portion of the application that allows you to choose where to place the shots still works, it's just the rendering of the image that is not working. I can try to copy and paste what I am getting on the screen and perhaps that would help. Please see attached -Thanks for the prompt reply -

Sure thing. Here you go. I tried changing in comparison mode and still did not work.

Apologies for the delay in digging into this... work has been a PITA, we had a major presentation due today and it ate up more of my time than I would have liked.

But, I was able to reproduce this just now. The issue happens when you maximize the size to really big resolutions. I will see if I cant get a fix done tomorrow for it.

Until then, resize the window to something smaller, exit then restart PointBlank and it should be fine.

Its a nice bug you found, only showing up on machines using higher screen resolutions (haha makes me laugh when we had arguments here in prior versions when I made the decision to allow PointBlank to be bigger than 640x480... some folk had computers that couldnt do higher resolutions Very Happy

Excellent work Dallan. It works fine when I re-sized the window. Let the folks there know that 640X480 went out the door over a decade ago. Laughing

I have a fix for this but uncovered a couple other issues with the group size calculations. I think I have that fixed as well but need to test it a bit more. All of this should be resolved soon.

Pushed a fix for this. There were a couple other issues related to the initial bug that turned up that I had to fix as well.
