I got this Marlin 880SQ several years ago and, while the rifle shot OK, I never did like the balance or feel of the stock.

A little help from Boyds Stocks seems to have corrected the problems! I've got a couple of tweaks to make and then we'll see how she shoots.

Boyds makes good stocks without crashing the bank. Looks good. Enjoy!

I've got a thumb-hole like that and I love it, they're so comfortable it's amazing people don't know how nice it is to point. Mine is on a 8mm Mauser with a new barrel and it's a tack driver I love it.

Did I say
I love it?

It looks great Pumpkin, though I would have gone with a different color but, since you're not giving it to me you can have it in any color you like.

It does look fabulous - very nice!

Paul, it's going to be a range toy rather than a hunting rifle so I went with something a little more colorful than usual. I almost went with the "Zombie"!

Well, at least the green and black would "resemble" safari camo, sort of. Wink

Your choice is a nice selection and will get good comments at the range.
