Ha!
Vince for the win.
I concur with Vince on the reception in the US too - I've made many fine friends over there & found people in general to be more helpful than here at home.
Mind you; I tend to keep away from the big cities...

We totally understand! Our cocker spaniels have lost their minds since Vince left. They have to be rubbed or petted a certain way, or they want nothing to do with us. Hopefully this new attitude they have will wear off pretty quick, or they will start sleeping outside! In the rain!

Gee, I'm sorry David...but they are terrific wee doggies mate.
Paul, I met my first "unpleasant" (actually he was a total ars3hole) guy in the US today, one of the sellers at the gun show...I felt like knocking his block off...even Bushy was taken back by his attitude. A total arrogant POS that needs an attitude adjustment. I had to bite my tongue and not say anything because most of the guys selling were carrying, and this moron looked just the sort of guy to get real nasty. It's been at least 12 hours and I'm still angry...on the inside...and wish I had told him that I was going at purchase a couple of his items but that he could now shove them up his butt !!...but it just wasn't worth the trouble, but it has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
Apart from that ars3hole, the gun show was outstanding...so many exciting things that we are not allowed to have at home. I had guys wanting to sell me all sorts of things and even though I said I would never get it into the country they kept trying to suggest ways they could send it, but I said "nope, it won't get past our Border Control - Customs".
Unfortunately I have to leave Bushy's place tomorrow ( I haven't been this relaxed in maybe 20 years) and head for Columbia Missouri to catchup with some friends for a day or so, then off to New York via Washington DC.

Dang Vince, I'm sorry you had to run into an a-hole like that!
Our wee doggies are good! They got to sleep with us last night, so all is forgiven.
Stay safe Vince and enjoy your travels...

He was only one out of around a hundred that were very interested in Vince and had a lot of questions about Australia to ask him. All friendly but one.

It doesn't take but "1" to ruin a good day! I hate that Vince had this "1" bad experience. I wasn't even there and I know it was totally un-called for...

Bushy...what’s the latest on Cobbie mate? All good?
Well, a lovely two days relaxing in Columbia. Up at 4 am to get to the Airport, went to book in and they looked at me like I had 3 heads. My travel agent back in Australia had booked me to fly out of Columbia SC instead of Columbia MO!!! Was I impressed...not even remotely. I spent nearly 4.5 hours on the phone with the 24 hour rep in Australia. Sorted now, but it cost me an extra AUD$550+ For a new booking and I’m not going to a Washington DC now.
When I get back home, there is going to be one sick, sore and sorry agent because I am gonna start ripping new ars3holes!! It is going to cost them for the cost of the two cancelled flights, and additional cost for the new booking, the Service Fee plus possibly some compensation for my missing out on Washington DC.

Aah...God Bless his little soul. He went up to feed the horses today. Has no problem climbing the stairs and jumping up and down on the couch. He's doing right fine. Thanks for asking.
Kobe is growling at us again getting attacked by those little indians again. I just plucked about 25 little arrows out of him.
Samantha misses you.

sounds like you will be in need of some liquid therapy when you get home Mate.... that and to get your ol 30/30 out and chuck some lead downrange somewhere. now with travel agent MOST VITALLY IMPORTANT .....write everything down...time and date ,persons name and what is/was said.....read it back to them when conversation is finished...take notes with you.... stand your ground it just isnt cricket ol chap. enjoy the rest of your holiday and do try not to corrupt too many more dogs.
