Grand God Father

My god son's wife has just delivered a baby boy.
so now I am a grand god father Very Happy

Ok, it was an emergency procedure a cesarian for the mom due to some complication. The baby boy is 3 months premature with only 26 weeks gestation and right now he is only 500 grams, but he is a definite fighter.
We would have to look after him for a while yet.
Libby (the mum) is doing fine and my god son who is a Captain in ADF is ecstatic.

Nevertheless I wet the baby head with a good bottle of bourbon last night Very Happy

Today I will make a special knife for the boy .. yeah..

That is outstanding mate.three months premmie is a tall ask for the little guy, but as you say, he is a fighter, and from the pic he looks it. My prayers are for a continued improvement and he grows stronger with each day.

My congratulations to Mum and Dad and of course to you, the Grandest of God Fathers the little tyke could wish for mate.

congratulations ,,,, help him live in the shooting world of the land of the free as we know it. Do as some here in the states do it ,,,Buy him a .22 rifle and break it for him ,,, when he get old enough you can pass it on to him. Cheers

A possible movie title right there.
Congratulations, I hope bub continues to remain healthy and thrives and mum recovers quicky. A bub in hospital for 3 months is a big strain on the parents, dont let them drive themselves in exhaustion.
If you have a wedding in the near future youll fulfil the family trifecta.
