Out here dinner is at 12:00 noon, supper is the last meal of the day

In my life those two terms always apply to the last meal of the day. Lunch is served at noon, or near that. Smile

Yep.

The other confusing one is using entrée for the main course, when it means the starter (entrée = beginning) to the rest of the planet. Scratch

In Australia, mornos is morning tea in mid morning, lunch is the midday meal, dinner or tea is the evening meal and supper (an old term and habit) is a nibble later in the evening.

Beer O’clock fits in anywhere it suits you as it is always time for a beer somewhere in the world.
