Nova Scotia and Ontario and Quebec have all started with check points. There is no one allowed to be a resident of one province and making their way to their cottages in another province to wait the virus out. People can now be charged if they are out and do not have a reasonable excuse to be out in public. Canada hit ten thousand today. I sure feel sorry for you guys stateside. Everyone be safe and please don't become a victim. That being said don't ignore your neighbour who is in need. Godspeed

It’s the same here. Queensland have sealed the borders off totally, which are now manned by Police. You simply won’t get into the State without written approval. I don’t think it’s such a bad thing though.

I was talking with a mate who lives on Long Island NY and he was saying the only positive cases they have in his area came from an influx of people leaving New York City and moving out onto the Island. Obviously, most if not all, weren’t tested so they bought the virus with them. Suffice to say the permanent residents of Long Island are not happy with the “city bastards” who have bought the virus to them. My mate is with Law Enforcement, and they are not happy either...because they have to deal with those who are travelling without good reason away from their home.
