Utah was never actually ordered to stay home, it was more of a "firm ask". Our homedepots have been among the busiest places in the state, rivaling costco for sure. We had some countys that locked down citing and ticketing people who came into their county... oddly they only ticketed people at state parks and lakes in their counties... dont ask me how that can be legal. I also dont understand how a person can spread corona virus sitting in a boat in the middle of a lake.
Anywho they are allowing businesses to reopen with some restrictions, alot of which I dont disagree with.
Sadly I fear the damage has been done to too many small businesses, many wont ever reopen.

Yep, I image many restaurants can't survive with a 25% occupancy restriction.

I believe China knew exactly what they were doing with the “release” of this virus.
When Australia made noises about pushing for an inquiry into the virus and how it “came about” and its release, a senior Chinese official in Australia came out openly and said to back off or China will completely destroy Australia’s economy.

Did more than 12 miles at low level to minimise risk, noted three individuals who thought their extreme climbing was well worth the $$$$ others pay for rescue services (look closely at photo 2, taken with a 50mm lens ...)

yip people who go out and take risks like that......sorry son, your on your own if you get hurt....
our economy has taken one heck of a hit, many small busnesses will close, the cafes and touristy gimmick stores are going to struggle to stay open at all....not so bad if its owned free hold...option to close doors till the sun shines again, but anything rented is in the doodoohs.
it looks like our wee town will loose about 5-6 busnesses as we on main tourist route and the lack of buses full of wealthy folk looking to buy stuff sort of makes a lot of places redundant.

We should just call it the BEER situation. (for Corona beer)
Thank you DallanC, It was bugging me too, but I can't do anything about it.
I guess if it had really bothered me I could always send a note... I guess it wasn't enough of a bother.

Covid-19 has left a huge dent in everybody’s lives.
I used to hate waking up at 3 am every Monday to catch a flight to work. Now I miss doing that. I have started missing airports and hotels.
I used to love travelling in my leisure time. There are so many unexplored places left in the world to see. Now I have been stuck in my room for weeks.
I used to look forward to visiting a pub every weekend for social dancing. Salsa used to be my respite from the crazy world. Now, I need to content myself with watching Salsa videos on Youtube.
I used to love eating out. I used to spend all my time in one of the cafes or restaurants in the city. Now it’s been weeks since I ate anything from outside.
I used to love hanging out with friends over the weekends. Now I need to content myself with video calls or phone calls.
I have run out of books to read at my home. And since I don’t like reading e-books, and there are no bookstores open, I try to spend my free time watching movies on Netflix instead, which is much less productive. I guess I need to finally start using Kindle now.
I had made plans for this year. Travelling to other places in the holidays, opting for the Advanced Scuba Diving course, attending Salsa dance festivals everywhere, and enjoying life as much as possible. Covid-19 has tossed all my plans out of the window.
Covid-19 has come like an unexpected storm, and turned our lives upside down. It has made us realize the value of small things in our lives which we used to take for granted earlier. It has made us realize how vulnerable we all are, and how one tiny virus can stop the entire world in a moment.

It may have stopped the world, but it hasn't disrupted my world. Been working up a load for my (NOS) Firestar M40 and enjoying the load that I worked up for my Browning BLR. Enjoying the company of my shooting buddy (Larry). I out shot him yesterday Vince. What I'm trying to say is I refuse to let this infest my life or change what I do.

The BLR is producing 2" 3 round groups at 100 yards with a 150 grain spire point over 45 grains of H380. Doesn't seem to matter what cases or primers.
We were at his pistol range. You know...The deep freeze next to the rifle bench. I did cheat a bit. We were using my Firestar M40. I have smallish hands and he has big hams for hands. It was a good day.

I dunno about bloody covid but there's another virus running round here.
Spent 48 hours unable to sleep, aching all over, a temperature between 102.8 & 103.5 & no appetite.
Temperature just above normal by last night but this afternoon, what should be an 8 minute round trip walk to mail something took me 17 & on getting home, I was wheezing, knackered & seating like a turkey in late November.
Being ill sucks.
