Before you release the new PB program are you going to provide a comments area for the ballistics load tab or target tab? I think it would be a great idea to be able to record data like: bullet seating depth, temp, elevation, wind, bench or off-hand, etc.
P.S. I was just introduced to this program yesterday by my shooting partner. Excellent job! Very easy to use. A big cup of Thank You to ya!

There is a comments field for the load data itself... things like Seating Depth should go with the load. Things like "wind, temperature" etc should go with the target info.
I will be re-working the target system so it shouldnt be a problem to add additional comment fields.
Thanks for the comment.

DC I'm new to this site and have been playing around with PB. Very nicely done! My only idea would be on the Firearms database tab: Remove the purchase price and the purchase date. My wife may find out how much I spend on guns and my excuse that "no honey, I've had this gun forever" might not work anymore!
Seriously, great work!
Some guy pointed me to this site and this software...if I could remember his name I'd tell him thanks

Some fields will be removed in the next version.. other new fields will be added. The exact configuration isnt set in stone yet.

This is the easiest software to get around in!! I am a Network Admin and I
have seen major companies who could'nt put out quality software such as this. Big BIG THANK YOU.
The only thing I would like to see, is a mass export/import feature so we could start a thread to share our data.
Thanks DallanC for a wonderful tool for all of us to use.

Here's another suggestion - allow users to set a preferred target size for MPBR calculations. Since I use the same size for all my rifles, I could set it and forget it. Then I could click the calculate button and get instant results.

One Feature that would be of great assistance would be the ability to import data from a chronograph, say a chrony type.
But other than that, it is a great piece of work, Thanks
