How many of you know what lawsuit the Virginia magistrate was referring to when he said he could not put the boy in an institution because of a previous ruling?
It was the ACLU, one more time. The ACLU sued to have mentally ill patients released from institutions all across this country, now these incompetent folks are about 80% of the homeless population. The allegation in the suit was that patients who were not imminently dangerous to others were being held against their will. The ACLU won the suit in federal court.
Now we have the unentended consequences of the ACLU lawsuit. But watch closely, the news media will skirt the ACLU, because they are afraid of the ACLU.
One day the ACLU will be declared a terrorist organization and its members will be rounded up and sent up the river.

It is interesting how the ACLU works. Every member is required to do pro-bono (free) work for the orginization. Then the orginization figures a charge for the time. The courts, full of ACLU lawyer - Judges ruled this bit of extortion is legal.
So you get sued, the lawyers are not charging for the suit against you, you loose and the ACLU hands you a bill for a million dollars. That is where the terrorism comes in, they use economics to terrorize their opponets.
