Lets try and be civil here this thread was about what kind of bow we hunt with and in my opinion thats all Bukmastr was stating. Even if he was giving a sales pitch whats the big deal, if it's a nice bow I would be interested in info on it. One of the reasons I come here is to learn about new ways to do things or new equipment. We can disagree without being disrespectful.

Hey shrpshtrjoe, You are absolutely correct on that. There's no room on here for deliberate rude, beligerent, antagonistic or obnoxious comments or behavior. Some people are just born that way as if someone just
p!ss&d in thier cornflakes. They need to keep it to themselves.

Joe,
Thats like saying just cause I have made mining equipment at work I got a interest in said mining equipment. Machinists get paid by the hour not by the job.

Dimitri,
The very fact that you are involved in the manufacture of the equipment used in the mining industry means that you have an interest in mining. If the mining industry were to cease operations, your employer may be forced to downsize, possibly putting you out of work. It would be in your own best interest to see the mining industry continue to prosper. The same is true whether you machine parts for excavators, cams for compound bows, or rifle barrels for a gov't contractor.

Yes and no Joe,
Jobbing shops which I'm assuming he is working in find work by doing any machining someone may want.
Automotive/Aerospace/medical suppliers and the like who specialize by devoiting their plant to making only one customers product I can see having more of a interest.
But in a jobbing shop, one day you make widget "X" for customer "Y" who is in industry "Z" and the next day your making widget "B" for customer "C" who is in industry "D".

No need. I find all this interesting. But don't get sarcastic on me. |

"rude, beligerent, antagonistic or obnoxious" maybe, but never sarcastic.

I shoot a Forge F2. The smoothest, most accurate compound I've ever owned. I just love it.

I started with a Fred Bear Whitetail Hunter, then moved to the Browning Ambush. Then moved to a Mathews Classic which was a good change. The Mathews works for me.
What ever you choose......You must be happy with it and confident with it. Then you get to choose your arrows, but that a different topic all together.
