My Son Ben, works in the Firearms Dept. at Gander, and says that they are selling more AR15's than they ever have.
I guess that they can't keep them in stock.
Sounds like hunters and shooters just don't trust democrats.

National media is running stories about the huge jump in gun sales. A buddy who is big into ARs says new ones are getting pretty scarce. Friends are stocking up on ammo, etc. You kow, Eric just might be right...
Now the question is, will the Democrats prove that people's fears are well founded? I believe they will.

The gunshop where I work received its powder and primer order today. There were the usual backordered items, but, most of the stuff arrived and in good amounts. GM215M, GM205M and most CCI primers are, as expected, out of stock and have been since the beginning of the year, except we did receive one shipment of three sleeves of GM215M; word gets around and they sold out within a week.
Winchester and Remington primers are in good supply with seldom a backorder. Many CCI and Federal users have found that the Winchester primers are top notch and have made a permanent switch while saving a bit of $$$$ as well. Those loading with Dillon 550s will find Winchester to be the easiest to feed.

Some of us saw this coming and have been stocking up for a long time. I am well fixed for ammo, components and stuff. All the best...

Some of this is a self fullfilling prophecy. We buy more due to the fact or feeling it is scarce. Then the next guy has less to buy from so he he buys more and so on back to us buying more preemptively.
Just seeing this thread makes me want to buy more expendables and the ubiquitous (hopefully) .22LR bulk packs.

It did not take Clinton long to slap us with the gun ban (which he lifted so China could import 365,000 AK-47's). I don't think it is Obama we are to worry about it is his cabinet and congress. They will gin up the laws and he will sign them and the Supreme court will justify the laws.
Our sport is in trouble and will be in trouble for the next century!! These guys have brainwashed all the kids that have been or are going throught the government schools. Lambs to slaughter!! WE are in for a wild ride, if Georgia puts Martinez in as Sentator, giving the Dems a supermajority.

Keep hunting, Keep buying sporting goods, Take your children hunting, Educate the uneducated and join the NRA (if you can tolerate the junk mail). Then rest assured this "dilema" will continue for decades.
