I really like 2-inch revolvers and came across a police turn-in at a local gun shop. The revolver was made in the early 1960s and is like new. I got it for less than $300.00. In checking a few websites to see what the current auction prices looked like and I was shocked. The website numbers were two or three times more than I paid for my Colt. That's why I prefer to shop locally. All the best...

Gil,
It sounds like you got a great deal. I had a few Colts over the years and always loved them. Which shop did you find it at? I was at Allan's on Friday.

Congratulations on that one Gil.
You are dead on, that a piece like yours would go for a heck of a lot more than you paid for it.

BigBlue,
I got the Colt at Seneca Arms in Green Lane. Never was able to do much at Alan's place. All the best...
