A DA revolver full of snap caps goes along way with teaching/learning a proper trigger pull without the expense of shooting !!!
Facing a large plain target or wall, align sights as if you’re shooting. ( you don’t want to see anything but a plain target or wall
Have a hard focus on the front sight.
Slowly pull the trigger watching that the front sight does not move.
If the front sight moves refer to the chart, and make the necessary corrections.
Once you learn to do this without the front sight moving speed the process up. As a side note, you do not have to practice at a rapid pace. It’s better to work at a slow pace and check yourself with a more rapid rate.

I have found that by walking people through it this way they catch on quicker because it’s easier to see and feel what’s going on.

One thing that is not mentioned on the chart is holding the trigger back not allowing for an immediately reset after the hammer/sticker falls.
This will result in a low or low left hit for a right hander.
Guns with excessive over-travel in the trigger will also cause this.

Hey thanks you all for the information. I work for the Federal Protection Service for 10 years, and have been a reserve deputy for the last 3 years, and we quatify 4 to 5 time a year. I seem to pull my shots a little to the left of the bullseye. I carry a glock md 22 (40) and it is a little big for my hand.

Nope !!! Vince took care of that in a very expeditiously manner !!! Besides It’s the only one I’ve ever seen on the subject.

Since that target is all about trigger control and I was aware of something that was missing I decided out of the graciousness of my heart to add my 2 cents worth !!! Very Happy
