I stay with Sierra in everything, now. I've tried just about everything in my 35 trs. of reloading and finally settled down. A lot of ya'll like Noslers, but they copper up everything I put them through, bar none. 5 rounds and get the wipeout. Nuff said. gota

The TSX's and the Nosler Accubonds have been very good to me.

for 180 grain i like the sierra spitzers and of 150 gr i prefer the hornady corelocs.
the only problem ive had so far is the corelocs at 2700 fps tear to much meat up on deer but do reach way out there.
the 180 grain dont shoot as far as fast but they kill deer dead without to much meat loss.
both loaded about mid powder gr range shoot 1 inch groups using the same sighting.

22-250 = Hornady
6mm = hornady
25-06 = Sierra GameKing
7mmwm = Nosler
30-06 = Horady
.300 win = Nosler part.
.338 RUM = Nosler part.
35-06 = Sierra GameKing
.45-70 = Hornady
Guess I love them all!!!!

What kind of question is this? I use them all, plus Nosler, North Fork, Oregon Trail, Cast Performance, Kodiak and have tried a couple others...

Bushy you are a grouchy guy... santa brung you girly gifts or sumthin?
I have favorite bullets depending on situations, rifles etc etc. I dont clearly like 1 type over another due to use... a Nosler Partition I love for hunting but its not worth a crap for shooting prarie dogs at 500 yards, in that case I like speer .55grn bt's.

Well...Took my Granddaughter shooting today (It didn't rain). Went through around 500 rounds of .38 Special, 9 X 19, .357 magnum, .45 ACP and .30-30. Also shot up around 200 .22LRs. Hot damn...I get to clean and deprime and reprime and recharge and seat a new bullet in all them shinny cases again...She did real good for her first time on the range. Only had one premature discharge and because of training it went down range. (S&W mod 10s have hair triggers). It was a good day.

Way to go, Granddad! My grandfather taught my brothers and I how to shoot. We spent many hours at his place using our single-shot .22's on aerosol cans. Every fall he made us show we could shoot the buttons off before he would let us hunt squirrels in his woods. After the first year squirrels were pretty scarce and we had to focus on rabbits!
This morning I'm going coyote huntingb ut when I get back Daughter #1 and I are going to the range to try out my 'new' Remington .308. She's a Russian linguist in the Air Force and is getting her Texas conceald carry permit in January. Looks like we'll be taking the .45ACP and 9mm and along with whatever else she wants to shoot.
Should be a good morning!
