Well- my budget is blown for the next two years.
I have control issues. Or lack of control issues. This is madness!

I stumbled onto this deal last night.

It was way out of my price range orriginaly....over 650$

I did an 'instant quote' on it for kicks. On sale, 425$. Shocked I aint a huge fan of budget doubles....but if something busts on it, Davidson's makes good.I've heard unsubstantiated rumors that budget doubles shoot out and get loose pretty quick.
Fingers crossed it aint a 1000 round wonder. It's my first stack barrel so...always wanted one, they is just too sexy. Very Happy

So what the heck ya only live once, I'm selling off some bike parts from my race days to help cover it and pork and beans for the next two years can't be all that bad (or can it.... Mad ).

And besides, I can't let Wiersy have all the (unshiny) gun buying fun. Smile

Side note- I had a feeling this was one of thier Russian imports with the SPR designator and, I was correct.

I read some good things about them and know of a gent that has a single Spartan. They aint the prettyest but they have a rep for being robust and well regulated. The chokes are off brands and run on the tight side, or so it seems but it comes with 4 so that's a good thing.

So either or, it aint a Peratzzi but it should be a fun, robust all-arounder.

I've always heard that the Russian guns were sturdy but not pretty. This sounds like a good opportunity to get a first hand report!

Great.

Hanging out at the bike rakc at lunch. Noticed my back tire has a nice slice in it (pretty foggy on the ride in today so...didn't see something obv.).
They're like 200$. Plus the install.

Called Davidons's. Cancelled the order. Sad

Oh well- they've got 99+ of them so... hopefully one will be there next month.

At least I still got the lil' Pardner and we already know that one's a shooter. Very Happy

BUGGER...hang in there Stoves...you'll make it mate. As Wiersy says...nice looking shottie.

What sort of bike mate? $200 seems an awful lot of money for a bike tyre...maybe you need to do a little shopping around.

Cheers, Vince
