...and lo and behold, the frost is almost on the pumpkin. There's a change in the air!
My .20ga is gettin itchy.
Dove, quial and roosters are on my calendar for the rest of the year. Who knows after that.
What's on yours?

I doubt that a duster would work in the rain. I've used this Outback in some real bad rain before. It even keeps my saddle and half the horse dry.
Come to think about it...I haven't even seen any "quial" around here. I do have two doves that come down to my wife's bird feeders...

How would you know? You have to have rain first...
Thought you were going out to shoot some "quial" for us...

'Kay...
Will this do?
I killed a decent Ohio Whitetail doe Saturday evening. By the time we had her back to the barn, all the local "check" stations had closed (we still hafta present deer with head and skin attached at an official "check" station and have a metal permanent tag affixed). I iced her down Saturday night, but in my haste to get her "checked", tagged, skinned, quartered and into the refer first thing Sunday morning, I forgot to get any pics.

What is an Outback Bushy?
It sorta sounds like a wet weather coat called a Driza-Bone Classic Riding Coat we have over here. They are brilliant.

Outback? They were invented in Australia. So I was told. Tightly woven cotton oiled foul weather full length or at least to the top of my riding boots coat with a split up the back for forkin' a saddle...And smells like a oiled tarpolian.
