Would this be a bit more to your liking?

Depends on the comfort level while driving walking etc. I know one can not have everything.

It is enough forward that you are not leaning against it and it's short and high enough that you aren't sitting on it. For those short 50 mile jaunts I have it holstered. For those longer jaunts I put it in the concel next to me.

A couple pictures of my 5 inch in the Aker holster. I will try to post a couple more when I receive the Milt Sparks IWB that is on order. I am on month 5 of a 6 month wait for that one.

A three inch does conceal a bit better outside the pants, but I think the Sparks IWB will be just the ticket.

I actually perfer to carry my 1911 over my Glock. Even though it's a full size .45 it's easier to conceal.
