It's so cold here in the Ozarks that I don't use my refrigerator. I have been keeping my beer in the pantry...

Bushy - I just got back from KC yesterday and I will admit that it is a bit nippy your direction - definately colder than my town - the Ozrks I imagine has that nice comforting "to the bone" chill that eats through most layers of longhandles.

We ended the storm with 20" of snow with more in some spots and less in others due to the drifting. My driveway is 600' long so I don't even think about taking a shovel to it. My plow truck, a 1985 GMC K2500 died last year, so I had to wait for my Father-in-law to come over to plow me out. He's got a nice Ford F350 mason dump with an 8' plow.

Is anyone else tired of hearin' 'bout the effects of the snowstorm on the DC politicians?...or New Yorkers?

Seems like every time I turn on the news, that's all they can talk about....

You'd think they solved all the country's problems, and just wanna sit 'round and bitch about the weather...

We got 14" at our house in North Texas. It broke the record for the largest single day snowfall in recorded history in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area. It was a heavy snow that broke a lot of tree limbs and knocked out some power. Here is a picture looking across the street.

I agree, STOP with the Global Warming BS!

I sure hate to wreck yer day, but it's not "global warming" anymore. It's called "climate change". That way gore has his butt covered no matter which way it goes...
