Sure wish you could vote twice here. I'da voted for Browning as like a golfer I take both so I have a choice of clubs according their particular use...( And I hate golf.. Fencing Just a plain waste of a good horse pasture)

I agree, my Winchesters are right under the NEF for most carried out the door but the poll will not allow for more than one answer. The boss "Mr. D" or the program vendor needs to fix that because it greatly limits the capability of polls.

Not only is it a waste of a good pasture , but I dont imagine greens fees , or whatever yawl call them , include huntin' rights as well ..
I dont have a favorite , a Ruger One is what I carry most often ..

I voted for Remington but almost voted for "other" untill I saw centerfire specified.I spend more of my hunting hours carrying my Thompson Center Flintlock and killed more deer with it than any other rifle.Centerfire it would be my 35 Whelen M700 bought on my 18th birthday as a present to myself. It has accounted for 6 bucks and 2 bears in the past 13 years.

I have shot more then 1/2 of my deer with a Remmingtom 700's & 7600.
So Remmington wins, however the last 5 bucks, five years in a roll that were killed by a centerfire rifle were killed with a Kimber M98 7mm rem mag, so in another few years if my luck doesn't change, I might have to change my post.

I had to double check the poll. No Ruger? Ruger is the largest US manufacturer and is not represented. That is an unfortunate omission.

My "go to" rifles are Rugers, M77s and No1s.

If I use a rifle most of the time it will be one of my Savages heading out with me, a 99, 10 or a 110. Got the ranges covered from 25 up to 358 with them. Both for long and short ranges. Cool

I presume that "H&s;R/NEF" means H&R/NEF, so thats what I voted for. I usually take my Ultra 243 or 308 with me. Followed by my Win. 94 (44 Mag), Sharps 45/70 and then my Marlin 30/30.
