Bloody dope growers

Went 4 a walk today with my 17 year old sone, we got into a likely area and walked about 200M off track, smack into a bloody dope growing camp (abandoned). Shit I hate druggies. Gonna use it for next years raids.

Make sure it is well cleared of any booby traps mate. I know the ones that we found in Far North Queensland were always booby trapped...very nasty.

What is a likely area?

Do you need to go on your walk-abouts armed? What arms would you be allowed to carry (could be a wide disparity between law-abiding citizen and criminal in your country)

Hey Slim...a "likely area" in Aussie usually refers to an area that looks good to do what you want to do...a a likely area for a walk or hike is an area that looks good to walk with nice scenery and is easy walking.

Same for a "likely spot" to fish...it looks like it will/should hold some pretty decent fish.

I would imagine that in the land of "Kay One Dubbya One" it would mean the same mate.

No mate...not George Dubya....Kay K One I Dubbya W One I = KIWI...a common friendly term to describe someone from New Zealand. There are also some not so nice terms involving sheep... but I would never insult our mates from The Land of the Long White Cloud by using them.

It's all good guys. Im the local expert on this kind of stuff anyway, I was the organiser/goto guy for our police area drug op this year so this happens all the time. I live in one of the 2 best spots for cannabis growing in NZ. Slim, all good down here I'm K1Dubbya1 thru and thru, thats like being Vinces Cousin or Brother. Armed? I was hunting. I got 7mm08 and am a reasonable shot. Your call!
Anyway I have GPS'd the plot and will use it in next years Operation.

That cute female officer was an Afghanistan Front line Kiwi Soldier in Banyiman Province for 9 months! She was partnered with me for 3 of the days of the Op. Shes been there and done that! A top lady.
