Nice bunnies Mike...well done mate.

I like the sound of your pies mate...how do you do them...just like a normal meat pie? Throw a recipe or similar up mate...be great to try them.

Cheers, Vince

HHHHhhhmmmmm I'm with you Vinnie, I think he's a cookin maniac that knows his stuff. I'm droolin just because of the descriptions. We want recipes!! I'm sort of a cook on the go person. Always heard of curries and I've never known what they are. Seems to be a popular feed, sounds like it's Indian food (from India). But very popular. Sort of like Mexican food here, I guess.

Never had a curry Suz...I'm astounded. wtf Shocked Shocked Shocked

The only correlation between Mexican food and an Indian Curry is basically the chilli that gives it its bite.

Curry is a mixture of eastern spices that create a flavour unlike any other. You have to try one. WARNING...some curries can be extremely hot...chilli hot. Personally, I much prefer a mild curry...the flavour without anough chilli to destroy your taste buds...and the skin cells on your nether regions the next morning. Additionally, curry has a "fun" side effect as well...it will make you "cough in your rompers" in a most odoriferous way the next day.

Curry Powder Ingredients

Some Curry Recipes

A Venison Curry

Yoghurt also goes very well with curry...another recipe using yoghurt...

Chicken and Yoghurt Curry

And if you are feeling very game...

Hottest Curry in the World

Enjoy...a nice curry, well made, is beautiful.

Cheers, Vince

G'day folks, just watching ya rabbit stories and as thats what I do for a crust, thought I'd let ya know that I got 288 in nine hours on friday night and another 130 sat night in four hours. But then I dont do it very sporting, for me its just vermin control, shoot them all in head with 22lr then gut, nut and pair them and put in mobile cool room, then take to process works sunday, get paid 6 bucks a pair, so do the math and can make a good living out of the little buggers. Best way to cook youngns is with vegies in camp (dutch oven) with can of coke instead of water, slow cook for four hours or so, gets the worms biting. Shoot them at night using head lights on ute.

That almost competes with the Dovenator! What type of .22 and scope do you use?

Pies are nothing special really; I just stew up a big pan of the mixed meat in beer with seasoning, a couple of stock cubes & some Bisto gravy thickening then fill the pie cases, bake & freeze.
Mebbe do a dozen pies at a time.

I cheat with the curry & use Patak's Madras Curry Paste (I reckon a lot of Indian restaurants here do too.....).
Chop & lightly brown a couple of onions, add the meat & 2 tablespoons of curry paste & cook for a few minutes, then add a can of chopped tomatoes & simmer for 40 minutes.

You're lucky: I'm into my usual severe jalapeƱo withdrawal after two weeks over the Pond.
Can't find 'em for love nor money within 100 miles of here. Sad

G'day Slim at this time am using a CZ453 varmint with 8x50 Zeiss ao scope. Also have an older Brno Mod 2 from 1971 thats away getting new barrel (you can wear them out if you try hard enough, approx 75,000 shots). Got 5 ten shot mags, but they always seem to run out when u need them, shots are anywhere from just outside the door to about 40 yds. Zero my scope at 35 yds the dont have to hold over out to 40. Gotta aim for the eye all the time. Just like a little red light lookin at u. Will try and get some pictures on here one day, when I work out how. Good little wife shud be able to show me how. They wont take them at the works unless head shot. Hence the signature

Camel,

Must have been the recent rain..

I am thinking of going to Gilgunnia in a couple of week for some goat meat,
maybe I ought to get a couple more esky to carry rabbit?

Funny how popular CZ's "mini mauser" is for bunny bashing.
I use a 452 & my mate uses a 453HB with the thumbhole stock. I really need to do a little work on the 452's trigger though - it's precise but heavy.
