I hope you are right mate...you simply cannot afford to let them get a foot in the door. I believe that what will happen in the future is their population numbers will get high enough for them to have a number of "believers" voted into Parliament...then they will go flat out to change the laws of the country to suit themselves.

Probably 20yrs ago we wouldn't have given them TV time, laughed it off as another skin-head tryin to rule the world. Thanks to the thinking and actions of governments in free countries, giving harbor, aid and welcoming extremists as individual emigrants needing a home, we certainly have a right to fear and be alarmed and protective of our way of life.

These people were allowed to enter en-mass and act as if they haven't left their country. They're made comfortable in a free society and have no idea that tolerance of religious freedom happens by abiding by the laws of the country they now live in, which is not ruled by religion, it's ruled by the laws set down by the people as a whole, who are of various religions that are tolerant of one another.

They are just as arrogant as Obama's (sorry) thinking of fundamental change. WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT MEAN? London just got the idea. There's fundamental change for ya. Maybe more radical than what you're thinkin about, but when it's not lined out for you, when it's some vague unidentifiable idea, it's not something you vote for.

Vague is the way it gets through, the way it gets voted for. It's a notion of change for the better, but better for who? It would be better for me to pay fewer taxes, have less government control, give back to the people who are supposed to be the ruling force. The notion is not always what we think it is. Does anyone know what hope and change really is? London does, and they didn't vote for it.

It's the same thing, the same way it's done. London is nipping it in the cahones. What is the US doing, AU, NZ? We're waiting for it to happen, you know the HOPE thingy. HOPE it doesn't happen. Our self appointed ruler of the free world better get his act together and CHANGE a few things or we'll be wishin we did.

I like the sound of that Suz...I'm lookin' forward to it mate.

You aren't laying the foot down mate...you are simply calling it like you see it and you also have a well balanced viewpoint when you put it across.

You certainly don't sound abused, in fact I doubt there is a person alive that would survive trying to abuse you. And if anyone did, I reckon you could rely on heaps of support from most, if not all, the people in here mate.

I remember a few years back that these muslims were in an uproar at the Chicago school district in that they want to try and ban the holidays that the schools observe saying it didn't represent their beliefs. The muslims lost that one for now.

Or how about the hoopla in Minneapolis, Minnesota where muslim cab drivers were refusing to pick up passengers because they had a dog? Yes this even included seeing eye dogs. The Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport authority then threatened to revoke the licenses of any driver discriminating in this manner.

According to different stats depending who you believe in, there is now between 1.9 million to 7 million muslims that immigrated here from different parts of the world. This does not include people here that have converted to muslim like Muhammad Ali and so forth.

I have been to enough football and baseball games and just shake my head in dismay when these muslims can't even stand up or put their hand on their chest when singing the National Anthem, but yet they came over here to the USA to live but can't even honor our country.

I love pork, in fact bacon and eggs for breakfast sounds just grand.might even wash it down with a beer or two.

Make up a holiday just for our national food and also eat it every Sunday morning, sort of traditionally like. We could also make up a national uniform for the holiday, with piggy ears and tails on our ball caps and piggy snouts as a hood ornament on the car. That's what we should do, just go all out piggy. Anyone wanting to live here has to honor the pig, starting off with citizenship applications where the inductee has to explain how the particular piggy bits placed in front of them, were cooked, by eating them. Pass that test, bundle-top! WAIT WAIT WAIT.......EAT THIS!!! Your new holiday meal!!

People should bring their pot bellied pigs in the cab with them-that should make the muslums quit driving their cabs!

Yep its even started going off over here for the last few years. There has been riots in the detention centres nearly every week. The big shopping centres are encouraged to limit Christmas celebrations also Easter celebrations. The stupid bitch that they got or a lord mayor in Sydney has even stopped putting up decorations on the Sydney town hall, all because it might offend some of these muslim groups. They even encourage less time in primary schools teaching christian values.
Well I say stuff the lot of them, they want to come here and live the good life away from all the troubles they got over in their own pox ridden countries, and yet as soon a the doogooders hold out the handouts they start putting crap on us because we descriminate against them. Well last time I looked Australia was a democratic, english speaking, christian country. I have nothing against fair dinkum people who can come here and have an input into our country, but leave the rest at home, (or at sea). This multiculturalism has gone too far. Im sure its the same as over in the states, all these little enclaves popping up in the major cities. You cant even read the shop signs, unless you speak the language of that ethnic group.

now heres a thought why dont we make good old fashioned neck ties at all high schools be made compulsary for all male students the catch is make em out of pig leather ....that should stop abit of the drain on the education system .

Its quite funny here at the moment....with our large muslim community in Hamilton there are a number of internal divisions mainly along the lines of race, ie the Somalians hate the Indonesians, who hate the europeans who hate the somalians causing all sorts of internal conflict.....keep it up I say. If they can't organise themselves internally, even for allah, I don't think we got too many problems down under. Anyway too many 'good keen men' here who don't tolerate that sort of sh1t!!!!
