Another item I would like to see is some way to scale the target to show holes outside the current 3" range. I am not always the eagle eye I used to be or the POI is not close to the POA and my holes fall off the allowable target range (currently 3”). This would be useful for long range work or sighting in and calculating scope adjustments

Target sizes beyond 600x600 @ 100dpi have been requested for a while. Its not strictly a simple idea to implement as not all images store the proper DPI internally which means I have to create a screen where the user indicates how many inches wide / high a target of X width and Y height is.

Its on my todo list, I just havent gotten around to tackling it yet.

I see... it gets complicated quickly.
How about this idea then.... can you draw a line grid overlaying the target image? Can you make it so the user can input the grid spacing (1/8", 1/4", 1/2" ... 1"... or metric units).
Maybe instead of a heavy line at 1" intervals (which would be more difficult) make it a contrasting color so the user can see the major grid interval.
I'd like to also request slightly smaller bullet holes, or a toggle of some sort between large and small.

Keeping the grid independent from the target image would allow a user to come up with a variety of representative targets, visually scaled for their application but still be able to input accurate hole measurements on the grid spacing.

Is this a more workable solution?

I use cheap 8 3/4" round paper plates with stick-on 2" dots for targets. I scanned it into a new target image using a Mylar overlay sheet with a 1/2" grid. It looks really good in Point Blank and works really well when entering hole placement from the actual target (I use the Mylar overlay on the target to coordinate shot placement) The only problem was when I re-sized the image to 600x600, the grid is now off and trying to re-size the image so the grid is correct is a major effort.
